The Kokuzo Festival is held annually on January 12-13 at Miyaji Kokuzo in Chichibu City. Known affectionately as 'Miyaji's Kokuzo,' the festival draws many visitors. The temple grounds bustle with food stalls and vendors selling daruma dolls and lucky charms.
Another highlight is the stream of visitors queuing to pay their respects from dusk onward, enjoying the beautifully decorated items along the temple approach. A free parking lot near the temple makes visiting by car convenient.
